Linda Rendel

Founder & FemDevsMeetup Düsseldorf

Linda is an accomplished producer with more than eight years of experience. She is driven by empathy and is passionate about supporting interdisciplinary teams to grow and create memorable and innovative player experiences. She worked on experiences like Beyond Medusa’s Gate, Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time & Assassin’s Creed VR. In 2017, Linda founded the FemDevsMeetup to promote diversity in the game industry

Carmen Lights

FemDevsMeetup Portfolio Sessions

Carmen is a lighting artist for video games currently living and working in London. She has 4+ years of experience in lighting for AAA games. In 2023 she joined Blizzard Entertainment on an unannounced game project. During her free time, she enjoys exploring photography and playing RPGs - the Baldur’s Gate series is among her favorites. Uplifting a new generation of gamedevs and supporting inclusivity in the industry is important to her. She joined the FemDevsMeetup orga in 2020 and organizes Portfolio Mentoring Sessions and online events.

Casilda de Zulueta

Game Jam Team & FemDevsMeetup Berlin

Casilda de Zulueta is a senior technical artist and animator, indie game developer and animation teacher. With more than 8 years of experience in the games industry, this Spaniard has specialized in filling the gaps between code and art by creating and documenting solutions for 3D art pipelines, writing shaders and rigging characters. Plus she will animate whatever may fall into her hands. In parallel with her profession, she gives talks and workshops on media studies and game development, all while advocating for a fair and healthier industry. On this matter, most of her efforts have been focused on co-organizing the FemDevsMeetup's networking events and its annual Fem Devs Game Jam.

Janrike Berger

(she/Her)

FemDevsMeetup Frankfurt

Led by a passion for visually stunning game environments, Janrike Berger started working as a 3D Artist in the games industry in 2013. Over the course of seven years she has been working on various different genres such as the third person RPG Lords of the Fallen, the survival game Memories of Mars and the city builder Tropico 6. She is currently working at Ubisoft Mainz in Germany as Prop Artist. Outside of work you can find her sketching, reading, hiking or playing long board game campaigns with friends. Janrike joined the FemDevsMeetup in 2020 to help organize the Frankfurt Meetups.

Joana Almeida

(she/Her)

FemDevsMeetup Cologne

Joana Almeida is a Technical Artist and has been part of the game industry since 2014. Born in Portugal, but also growing up in Germany and Switzerland, she eventually decided to return to Germany and ultimately studied Animation & Game at the Hochschule Darmstadt. She currently works at Massive Miniteam. Joana was part of the team that expanded FemDevsMeetup to Frankfurt in 2018 to bring a space for women in games to Hessen. Joana loves video games, movies, TV shows, books, you name it, but you can also find her weaving her own worlds and tales as a Dungeon Master along with her trusty RPG group.

Leonie Wolf

Game Jam Team & FemDevsMeetup Berlin

Leonie is a 3D Technical Animator. She has been working in this field since finishing her bachelor’s degree in Digital Games in 2018 and has graduated from her master’s program Game Development and Research in 2021. Leonie has been involved in the release of 20+ games for which she produced 3D graphics and animations and is continuously working on several game projects as an employee and freelancer. Aside from her day job, Leonie is working as a 3D art mentor, event speaker and event organiser, focussing on bringing women and marginalized groups of developers closer to the game industry. She is part of the FemDevsMeetup organisation team since 2019.

Sylvia Ulloque

Sylvia is a Graphic Designer passionate about 2D game art and UI. She started her professional journey in Colombia as a VFX artist and motion designer. Over the last 7 years, she’s been working in the game industry as UI Artist both in mobile and AAA games. She is currently part of the Rainbow 6 Siege team at Ubisoft Düsseldorf. In 2019 she joined the FemDevsMeetup orga and Women in Games as an Ambassador.

Emese-Anna Hoppa

Anna is a game designer with a fascination for complex systems and and how said systems can create unique stories when interacted with. During her studies she joined Limbic Entertainment, where she is still working as a designer. In her free time Anna likes to cook, take photos and paint occasionally. She joined the #FemDevsMeetup in 2023 to help organizing Meetups in Frankfurt.

Paula is a Conceptual Designer & Marketing Manager who studied Media and Cultural Studies, majoring in Japanology and Game Studies. Starting her game career at Ubisoft Dusseldorf on titles like Rainbow 6 Siege & Just Dance, she now has over 6 years of experience in the games industry, from game launches to running esports tournaments, under her belt. Outside of work you can find her singing Karaoke, hunting for little treasures at antique markets and reading a book with a delicious tea next to it.

Janna is a digital 2D artist specialised in painting environments. She finished her Master’s degree in “Digital Games” in 2020 and is currently working freelance as a game artist and illustrator. She started organizing the online art-hangouts and later joined the FemdevsMeetup Team in 2022.

MAScHA CAMINO

Online Events & Femisphere Berlin

Mascha grew up in a family of actors and chefs, but once her dad introduced her to video games, she wanted nothing more than to create them herself. After studying Game Design in Berlin at the UE Germany, she joined Maschinen-Mensch, where she’s responsible for creating experiences players will remember and cherish. She is also an integral part of the Berlin game scene, working on initiatives such as Femisphere (highlighting diversity in the games industry), the Indie School Trip, Devolution, and one of Berlin’s biggest indie dev gatherings, Talk & Play. Mascha joined alongside with Lola, the Femisphere team in 2018.
