Do I need to pay for the event ticket?

No, thanks to our sponsors all our events are free and include free drinks/snacks as well (unless stated otherwise in the event description)!

How can I reach you if I need help during an event?

Make sure you are familiar with our Safe Space Guide. At the beginning of each event our orga team will introduce themselves, please reach out to them if you need support. On discord you can tag @moderator or @orga team to reach out to us. You can also contact us via mail.

Are your events accessible?

We strive to provide events that are accessible on-site as well as online. Our event description will include information on accessibility. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about the event beforehand.

DO I need game development experience to join your events?

No, all you need to bring is being interested in game development topics. No prior knowledge is required.

I’m trans, nonbinary, or gender non-conforming, can I join the meetups?

Yes! We are making sure our events are a safe space for everyone.

What is Meant by Marginalized Groups?

Marginalized groups are groups of people who are systematically excluded from mainstream society and face social, economic, and political disadvantages. These groups can include people of color, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and others who face discrimination and oppression.

I’m not part of a Marginalized group and would like to participate in the events and community, am I allowed to?

Yes! We welcome allies who are willing to support and it would be even more awesome if you bring a female friend.

Which languages are your events in?

All our events and communication is in English.
